Official questions belong with official offices. This guide cannot confirm a warrant, change a court record, take bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. For current status, contact the court that issued the warrant or begin with Utah's public statewide search. The Sheriff can route questions about service, and the Jail handles booking and release operations.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Choose the record holder that fits the question. These contacts are drawn from Kane County and Utah Courts directories:
- Statewide search: the free Utah Statewide Warrants Search is a public starting point; confirm a result with the issuing court.
- District case or warrant: Sixth District Court, Kane County Courthouse, 76 North Main, Kanab, UT 84741; 435-264-4790. Its Kane court page lists current court information.
- Justice Court case, traffic matter, or payment: Kane County Justice Court, 76 North Main, Kanab; 435-644-2351. See the Justice Court page before using CORIS.
- Orderville or Glendale matter: Orderville Municipal Justice Court, 435-648-2534. Orderville Town Office is at 425 E State Street; call ahead to confirm the correct court location.
- Service or Sheriff-held records: Kane County Sheriff, 971 E Kaneplex Drive, Kanab, UT 84741; 435-644-4916. The Sheriff page routes to Jail, records requests, and civil process.
- Booking or release operations: Kane County Jail, 435-644-4914; 24-hour dispatch is 877-644-2349. Jail staff do not replace the issuing court for legal status questions.
- Public records request: county administrative requests go through the Clerk/Auditor at 435-644-2458 or the Kane County GRAMA page. The displayed email uses a Washington County domain, so verify it before sending personal information.
Kane County does not publish a distinct warrant-unit phone or a county-hosted searchable warrant roster. The Sheriff's general line is the verified public contact, while the court that issued a warrant remains the right place to confirm its present court status. A GRAMA request is a records process and does not speed up a warrant decision.
